An individual may contribute up to $2,500 per election to Texans for Tom Leppert (the primary, runoff and general elections are treated as separate elections). Contributions that are not designated for a particular election will be deposited into the primary election account. Any portion of an undesignated contribution that would cause a contributor to exceed the contribution limit to the primary election will be deposited into the runoff election account. Any portion of an undesignated contribution that would cause a contributor to exceed the contribution limit to the primary and runoff elections will be deposited into the general election account.
